Who we are
The Association of Large Distribution Cooperatives serves as the forum for advancing the interests of the nation’s largest retail electric cooperatives.
The ALDC works to foster the sharing of ideas and best practices for the benefits of the association members.
The ALDC is internally-focused. We don’t competed with externally-focused entities, advocate externally, or look for media influence.
The ALDC was founded in 2001 and incorporated in Texas as 501(c)(6) by eight member cooperatives. Since 2001, the Association has grown to over 45 members in 17 states.
